Welcome to Talislà!

The origins of Talislà, bring us back to the 1950s when Virginia Loi inherited from her family a land located on the shores of the Ogliastra coast, pictured by the division between the "sea of men" and the "sea of women" dictated by the seventeenth-century tower of Barì.

Virginia, mother of eight children, a woman of great intellect, worked together with her husband Cesare, dedicating herself to this commitment of having these soils fertile.

It was a tradition that during the summer, the inhabitants of Bari Sardo arrived with typical bull-drawn wagon called "is traccas" to spend the season by the sea.
Virginia and her children, to replenish them, offered them fresh drinks that were kept in a well "sa funtana" located in the vegetable garden.

It was the 1960s when tourism began to grow more and more and it turned out to be the right time to expand, opening the restaurant by the sea.

In particular, the three sisters, Natalia (known as "Tatalla"), Elisa, Gisella, and her brother Mario, believed in this project and, step by step, built what we've become: "Hotel Ristorante La Torre", the first four-star hotel in the Ogliastra territory.

The name "Talislà", a combination of the names of the sisters Tatalla, Elisa and Gisella, is meant to be a symbol of recognition of the history of these three extraordinary women entrepreneurs.

Nowadays the historic restaurant gets a new look and centenary dishes are brought to the table, representing the territory, such as the original Ogliastra "culurgiones", with preparations that paint modernity and have a vision of the future.

Talislà which is also a bar, pizzeria and ice cream parlor is ready to welcome you at any time of the day for an authentic and joyful experience.
